We have for sale a fabulous vintage Lilly Pulitzer sportswear play dress circa 1960s, one of the original Lilly designs, 100% cotton and fully lined with delicate lace binding to the hem. It has a fantastic mid-century bright orange, brick-red and yellow mod floral print, with two front patch pockets with ribbon and bow details at the top of the pockets, and also at the neck and mid-way down the front. It has princess-line tailoring with side and bust darts and a functional metal zipper at the back with a hook and eye closure. The label says "The Lilly, Lilly Pulitzer, Inc.". There is no size tag, but it looks to fit a size 4. Measurements are: Length from shoulder to hem at back: 36 1/2 inches, width from underarm to underarm across the bust: 17 1/2 inches, across the waist: 16 inches, across the hips: 17 1/2 inches, across shoulders: 13 1/2 inches from outer edge to outer edge. This dress is in very good condition with no rips, tears, stains, snags or odors and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, although it is creased from storage and could use an ironing, the middle bow needs a stitch to hold it in place and there is a pin hole at the upper back near the neck. It is one of a number of vintage Lilly Pulitzer items that came from a Florida estate. Buy it now!
