Description: Fine late Victorian quarter hour striking, spring driven, Grandmother sized clock in mahogany with fine marquetry work throughout in the style of "Bird and Basket" work of the late seventeenth century. This clock strikes quarter hours on rods, and has a balance wheel movement that is original, circa 1890. Clock is in working order and is a magnificent example of late Victorian English craftsmanship. Measures approx. 74" in height, 12.5" in width at the base, 7.5" in depth at the base.

Condition: Case French polished, mechanics original and in working order. Year: Circa 1890.
