Description: Large vintage Santa sleigh, with bentwood runners, measuring approximately 21 inches high, 35 inches long, and 19 inches across. This hand-crafted and handpainted sleigh appears to be made from papier mache and wood. The runners are wooden, nailed together and lashed at the joints with wicker, then painted forest green with gold trim. The sleigh's body and seat, which appear to be made from sturdy papier mache, are painted red. The raised curlique trim is painted bright gold. This piece, weighing approximately 4.5 pounds, is in very good condition, with minimal to light surface wear. It is solid and intact. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. The sleigh is located in Lansing, Michigan. Due to the size of this sleigh, buyer arranges for pick-up or we would be happy to arrange shipping.
