Description: This large and impressive jug has a George I sparrow beak style, plain baluster form onto a plain spreading foot. The jug is fitted with a C scroll handle. This fine jug is an extremely good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the base are all very clear. Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this item. Height 13.4cm/5.3", Diameter of base 7.2cm/2.8", Diameter of top 6cm/ 2.3", Length from back of handle to lip 11.7cm/4.6", Weight 10 troy ounces/311g. Alternative images available on request.
