Description: Hallmarked for Chester 1924, this heavy sterling silver cigarette case would also be ideal to carry business cards or credit cards. Gilded inside, with restrainers to both internal sides. Maker’s mark “T & S”. Outer is decorated with engine-turned engraving, and is also engraved in one corner with the ornate initials - can’t make them out, but there’s an A in there somewhere! Overall excellent condition, with a few shallow uneven patches on the lids. Weight: 230 grms. Measurements: 14.25cm by 85cm and 2cm thick (5.5/8 inches by 3.3/8 inches and 3/4 inch thick).
