Description: This is a most unique French Provincial farm table from high in the mountains near Spain in the Basque region. This table is solid and very heavy. The remarkable thing is that the top can be remove, and the legs unpegged from the stretcher for transportation; however it takes several strong people to remove the top. The table has typical Basque carvings on the legs with flowers inside a circle on the feet, knees and center stretcher. There is also a leaf motif on the legs. This is a remarkable table and certainly one of a kind.
