Large Antique Figurative Bronze Clock Sevres Porcelain This is a real beauty, an eye catcher for every home. Impressive large clock has gilt bronze base and patinated bronze figure of God of Corn or of the Earth and Fertility. This clock was made in France in the second part of 19th century. Hand painted Sevres porcelain inserts with 18th Century scenes made with really marvellous intense colours and gilt relief apply. Porcelain is in excellent condition. Clock has some absent parts which were the part of the attributes as you can see on the pictures. Porcelain dial with Roman numerals is in very good condition. French movement is in good running and striking condition with 8 days going work and the 1/1 and 1/2 hours striking on a silvered bronze bell. The movement stamped with serial number 1885. Key, bell, pendulum included.
