It is always so exciting to find such a real & genuine early lighting device. The blown glass bowl is so deeply engraved with elegant palm leaves. The bronze frame is a delicate masterpiece of repousse fruits & flowers & the free blown smoke bell really pulls the lamp together. This lamp is circa 1800.These lamps are generally found in the foyer & hallway , they can be electrified easily.
