Studied in China Central Academy of Fine Arts for three semesters in 1999, 2001 and 2005 respectively. Since then, have worked with national leading realism artists Jiang Guofang and Yang Feiyun, Li has become a rising star in the field. He was chief art designer for many big commercial projects in Shanghai and Beijing.
