Description:
Lacquerware box with mother of pearl inlay. Inside there are four boxes also with nother of pearl inlay, full with mother of pearl gaming chips. The outside box has some small damages, but not many. The inside of the box is very good and the four boxes inside are in very good condition. I do not know whether the box is chinese or japanese. There are 20 round chips with a diameter of 2.7 centimeter [ 1.06 inch] and 20 square ones of 3 centimeter by 2 centimeter [1.18 inch by 0.78 inch] and 80 square ones of 5 centimeter by 1.4 centimeter [1.96 inch by 0.55 inch]. The square gaming chips are not realy square, at the corners there is always a small piece off.Total weight is 1300 gram [ 46 ounces]. The outside box is 27 centimeter [10.6 inches] long, 21.5 centimeter [ 8.46 inches] wide and 8.3 centimeter [3.26 inches] high.
