Description:
This sign was made for Kite Mentholated Cigarette Tobacco. The image features a great image of the carton entangled by the kite string of their logo kite, flying up above. The lithography was done by Allied Printing of New York. The colors are light green, olive green, slate blue, and dark blue. The print size is 18" x 12". The condition is good, except for some slight staining on the kite image, and on the letter K, plus some slight crease marks. There is a Union stamp with number 54, and #685. We don't know the age of this sign. It appears to show aging, and therefore we believe it to be an original and not a reproduction. The sheet is on dark blue paper backing. The black painted wood frame has a few light nicks. Its size is 16" x 22".
