Dimensions: 7.75" height, 4" outermost diameter at lower rim, 1" opening at back; weight is 1.40 pounds
Condition: Excellent. Minimal loss of the upper left back corner edge as detailed in the photos below, dings and scuffs present consistent patination. Light chocolate patina accentuated with beautiful brassy highlights, a generous layer of verdigris is suggestive of previous burial.
Notes: Glar's work on the Kapsiki presents a similar piece from his personal collection. Originally worn as a display of wealth, also used to store or cache wealth, and as currency in various transactions. This particular style has become increasingly more difficult to locate during the last two decades.
Please to fully appreciate this stunning old cuff!
