Description:
Here's a fabulous find from the 1940s! A Kim Ward "Heidi Schoop" decorator vase/planter. It measures 9-1/2" tall and 5" wide. This is a little peasant girl with her patched pants. The colors are lovely greens, pinks, and browns. She has a sweetheart mouth and a pink cap. Excellent condition. No chips or cracking. Crazing under the glaze from age. Definitely a rare find. Email with any questions! Thanks for looking!
(A little history....):
Katherine Schueftan made her products under the name of Kim Ward until a court order by Hedi Schoop in the early 40s prohibited her copying Schoops' designs. Ward/Schueftan started producing the desgigns again in 1945 under "Kaye of Hollywood".
