Description: Sketch on Crested Paper. This sketch accompanies a letter from J. Dickinson Logan to William Wister of 407 Walnut Street Philadelphia, written 25 February 1867. The letterhead also bears the same crest with 'L' and location 'Summerville' at the top. Also from the same Wister Collection, a letter from C. O. Sanford to William Wister, dated July 29, 1858, showing a hand-drawn pedigree of a dog owned by Wister, dating back 20 years to 1838. The sketch paper measures 4 3/4" x 7 3/8;" the matting is 10 3/4" x 12 1/2." The three pieces are sold with an envelope.
