Description: Kaywoodie Pipe Remembers When Ad 1948 This is a December 11, 1948 advertisement It is a nice color ad from Kaywoodie Company of NY and London. Ad has a nice color picture by Nayiran Price (not sure of spelling on first name) Shows whale fisherman trying to capture a huge whale. Ad reads, In 1851 when the Kaywoodie organization began to make pipes, America used whale oil to light its houses at night. Whalers often carried Kaywoodie Pipes for leisure hours. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 wide by 13 3/4 tall
