Description: Presented is antique German beer stein made of pottery around 1900 - 1910. It was made by Albert Jac. Thewalt in Hoehr - one of the very few beer stein manufacturing companies that are still in operation till the present day. Beautiful nicely designed German beer vessel in Jugendstil style. Showing a hunting dog of pointer breed. The lid has a relief picture of a deer and engraved inscription indicating that the stein was presented as a gift from War Veteran's military Association to one of the members in 1911. Excellent condition, except for a faint hairline on front - see picture. 6" tall, 0.5L capacity.
