Description: This beautiful crystal glass German beer stein was made around 1910s. The stein's style and design is distinctive Jugendstil (German version of Art Nouveau). It is decorated with green glass applique and deep cut decorations forming barley ears. The simplicity and elegancy were the cornerstones of Jugendstil as opposed to general European Art Nouveau style. This one shows the style of a true artist. The lid is made of pressed metal engraved with initials styled in the same Jugendstil manner. The stein is in excellent flawless condition, it is 6" tall to the top of the thumblift, 0.5L capacity.
