Description: A lovely John Maddock & Sons Staffordshire plate, circa 1896 or after. Plate has a detailed, colorful scene of wild pheasants with a finely detailed border. Bottom of pitcher is marked with the brown hallmark John Maddock & Sons England royal Vitreous. There is also an impressed mark of a crown, G V VII O. Plate measures 9 5/8" diameter, has light overall crazing, no chips.
