The tureen is circular and footed with two bracket handles. The tureen cover has a scalloped rim and double-gourd finial handle. The serving dish is oval with a scalloped rim. The decoration of both pieces consists of gilt highlights and translucent blue floral decoration on an ivory ground. On the tureen and bowl underside are the stamp for Johann Haviland that has been use since the late 1930s. The bowl is stamped "25" and the tureen is stamped "E 130." A lovely pair. Dimensions: Bowl: 2-1/4" High, 10" Wide, 7-3/4" Deep. Tureen with cover: 6-1/2" High, 10-3/4" Wide, 8-1/2" Deep. Total weight: 4-1/4 lbs. Condition: Both pieces are in very good condition with no chips or cracks and only a few light surface scratches. They do not appear to have been very often used.
