Material: Hardwood, shell, fiber, bead eyes, skin oil, custom wood base
Period: Later 19th to early 20th century, conservatively
Dimensions: 22.75" height, 6" width, 4" depth on 4.75" x 7" base; weight is 4.45 pounds
Condition: Excellent. Exquisite signs of age and wear, burnished skin oil patina indicative of ritual rubbings and extensive tribal use. Age cracks and two expertly rendered indigenous repairs at right forearm and shoulder all test stable, exposed wood displays significant patination - a superb specimen!
