This casket is so rich & luxurious with do much dimesion.The wood is birds eye maple & the frame is gold on bronze .All around the edges of the box is the most elegant applied filigree work The latch on the front has a rampant lion cut out on the key & is in good working order .The interior is fitted with the old faded green velvet. The color combination was not doubt spectacular & brilliant on the day it was made. The casket has mellowed nicely with age , having the most lustrous & rich surface patina you can imagine .The oval shape is quite spectacular ,so classical .Underneath is a hall mark with a rampant lion facing left in a punch with the numbers 8105.The condition is excellent & it measures 4 ½” High x 7 1/8” Long x 5 ¼” Wide.
