Description: Pictured are 2 pieces from this 6 pc set. Walnut construction in as found condition (good), set consists of 2 large arm chairs and 4 side chairs. The arm chairs have the jenny lind woman's head mainly associated with the work of John Jelliff (1813-1893) NJ cabinet maker. The side chairs are matching but never had the woman's head. The heads are a formed wood substance while the rest of chairs are solid walnut. Great incised carving throughout with applied veneered discs, carved crests etc. Obviously set needs reupholstering, minor woodworking needed such as missing castors, missing head on arm chair etc. We do offer full restoration services.
