Description: This lovely little nest with a bird on the edge is a pretty & unique brooch, probably from the 1960s. It can sit on the shoulder of a dress. There are three small cultured pearls in the nest. which is held in a crown type basket. The nest is 1 1/8" diameter. The wingspan of the bird is 1 1/4". The metal is gold filled, possibly gold plate. By "Jeanne", whose jewelry was advertised in Seventeen magazine during the early 1960s.
