Description: A fine late 19th century Meiji Japanese porcelain handled jardenaire. The piece is decorated with blue and persimmon floral decoration. The handles are in a bamboo motif. The piece would have originally had a lid which is missing. It measures 8 3/4" from handle to handle and 3 3/4" in height. Condition is very good with no chips or breaks. There is a minor glaze imperfection in the making on one of the handles.
