Description: Beautiful small teapot with elaborately folded rim with gilded edges. Dual colour clay ribbon handle, lid in spider’s web pattern and enamelled white cranes and flowers to the sides. Studded strapwork around the spout base. Pivoting finial on lid. Teapot measures 15 cm handle to spout and is about 8.5 cm high (6 inches by 3.1/4 inches). Excellent condition. Beautiful little hand modelled pot, circa 1900. One of the prettiest of this style I have seen.
