Description: Antique Japanese (Edo period) set of sword ornaments consisting in a set of Fuchi and Kashira adorned with inlaid gold and shakudo. The Fuchi (proximal cap of the hilt) features a pair of birds perched on a tree branch. Kashira (distal cap end of the hilt) represents an owl on a tree branch. Both ornaments are in excellent condition.
