Description:
This is a beautiful Ivory walking stick. Circa is 1900. It is hard to say exactly, my understanding is that the waking stick was purchased in North Africa before World War II. The handle has two animals merged , a lion and elephant. The shaft is composted of nine sections which are screw linked together. The have a bamboo motif. The condition is really very fine, with no cracks or stains , only the natural aging. There is one tiny old chip on the top column (view image #4). Just on the rim and very hard to even notice. The walking stick would make a fine addition to your collection or a fabulous gift.
