This is a gorgeous mahogany Italian style reproduction Bombe chest commode.
It has a beautiful removable and scalloped marble top with a traditional beveled edge and it features 2 large drawers with dovetail joinery that have lovely foliage ormolu handles. This piece is beautifully crossbanded on its front and sides and it is luxuriously embellished with gorgeous ormolu mounts that include foliage & floral images, distinguished cherubs on the corners and figures on the drawers, in addition it has very attractive ormolu paw feet. This is an outstanding piece of furniture that will be cherished at home for many years to come!
