Description:
This clean and very high quality clock was produced by the E. Ingraham Clock Company in Bristol, Connecticut around the year 1900. Overall, this is much nicer than most parlor clocks. The eight-day movement is signed and original to the case, as is the alarm mechanism. The pendulum is above average and rates "excellent" for this type of clock. The dial pan may be a replacement however the door glass appears original. The high quality of this clock marks it as one that may have been made for the various American washer companies that purchased clocks from the Connecticut clock companies as premiums to give to their customers. A fine clock with a really clean, and attractive case.
