Description: This is a wonderful stool that has recently been refinished. It is from the 1920's or 30's. The little step fits nicely underneath the stool and slides out. It can be kept out or be folded in. The main part of the stool is steel while the support under the seat that holds the legs is made of cast iron and the legs are heavy gauge steel. Another detail of the piece is the square nuts used to hold it together. It is sturdy and can easily be used as a step stool to hold over 200 pounds.
