Description: A Butcher Block Island in great condition with that incredible and unique industrial look. ca 1920 this one-of-a-kind piece has wonderful lines with a delicate bowed base that adds to the beautiful contrast of the stiff lines through out the base. The top is solid Maple in great condition no cracks. The top shows age and adds character, the top is as useful as it is beautiful. The base are solid iron beams. The wheels move freely allowing the whole island to be moved with ease. The finish on the base is great it adds to the rustic yet chic nature of this unusual industrial piece of history. the photos don't do this justice.
