Emerging from a simpler time when employed craftsmen took pride in their meticulous work, these kitchen cabinets from the Hoosier heartland not only remind us of these times in their strength and beauty - they still maintain the function for which they were built. Ordinary day-to-day usage should provide little threat to these monuments, although the attrition they suffer as the decades pass may present a problem. Wormholes, termite infestation, gradual warping due to humidity fluctuation, and other factors may contribute to the necessity of restoration of an aged kitchen cabinet.
