Description:
These sauce boats have an oval plain rounded form onto an oval shaped pedestal foot. There is gadroon decoration to the rim of the body and foot. The sauce boats are fitted with S scroll handles which have acanthus decorated thumbpieces. These impressive sauce boats are an extremely good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition. The hallmarks strck to the surface of each piece, underneath the lip, are well preserved considering their position. Reflections in photography may not give a true representation of these items.
