Description: We offer a truly magnificent cigar or cheroot case in beautifully worked silver. The case is 4 1/2 inches long (11.5 cm) and almost an inch high (2.5 cm). According to Postnovika it was made in Moscow by S. Stroganov circa 1876. The exact date, unfortunately, is worn on both the top and bottom. The case is in very good condition and all the engraving is in excellent condition. There is limited wear as it is not a new item and was used.
