Description: From a wonderful collection we offer a signed Order of Stanilas. The enamel is almost perfect with slight rubbing to the front with green enamel surrounding the SS. To the rear there is no enamel apart from the St Stanilas sign.On the lower portion of the cross there is the K, which we believe stands for Kiebel as well as the initials in cyrillic for D.O. (Dimitry Orloff). . It would appear that Dimitry Orloff was a workmaster in Moscow in the 1870s. There is some wear on the fixed suspension ring and it is believed that a small 56 is visible on this on this.Though the mark is not too clear.
