Description:
This lovely 2 handled plate in the Candlewick pattern #400/72D was made by the Imperial Glass Company. While the Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio, was first organized in 1901 by a group of area investors, it wasn't until January 13,1904, that the first glass was made. While the Candlewick pattern itself was made from 1936-1984, this style plate was made from 1937 through 1976. The candlewick handles and rim of the plate with the etched wheat pattern really make this piece stand out. In very good + condition, without chips or cracks, there is some light, minor scratches from use and it measures 10 inches in diameter and 12 inches from handle to handle. Makes a beautiful display for pies and cookies on any table and an addition to any Imperial Glass Collection. SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions please contact me and thank you for looking.
