Material: Wood, plant fiber, cord, traces of skin and/or palm oil
Period: Early 20th century, conservatively
Dimensions: 14.25" height, 5.5" width, 6" depth; weight is 2.95 pounds
Condition: Excellent - solid and structurally sound, age cracks test stable, exhibits strong signs of wear, age and extensive use, all scuffs and nicks present patination
Held in private collection, the condition of this piece remains unchanged from the time of its late 1950's field acquisition. Make special note of the surface condition and wear in the detailed photos below, the gorgeous weat d pigment displays highlights of old wood tones with traces of skin or palm oil - nice !
