Description: For sale is a vintage Hyalyn Pottery pitcher. Strawberry motif on it, very similar to the McCoy pitchers put out in the 1950's-60's, which this pitcher dates to according to the mark on the bottom. The mark has the number #905, and hyalon in an oval, and USA under the oval. (see Lehner's book of marks). This pitcher is in very good condition, no chips or cracks, just one tiny irregular clay spot near the spout, but it is glazed, and is not chipped. Hyalyn pottery/porcelain co. was formed in 1943 and ended in 1973. (Hickory, North Carolina). There is also a kitchen cannister set that matches this pitcher which I recently sold.
