Description:
This is an absolutely gorgeous 7 piece breakfast set for two made by Hutschenreuther Hohenberg Germany. It has pink and yellow peony flowers on deep cobalt blue (Kobalt) - not black at it appears in the photos. The gold decoration is very heavy and very intricately detailed. This set consists of 2 cups, 2 saucers, 2 plates and the magnificent handled serving platter. The cobalt blue is very rich and dark in color. This set is in outstanding, pristine condition and was probably never used - there are no chips, cracks or crazing. The cups are 4 3/8" top diameter, 2 3/8" tall. Saucers are 6" diameter, plates are 7 5/8" diameter. The large serving platter measures 12 7/8" from handle to handle and 10 7/8" across. A beautiful Hutschenreuther set - much nicer in person.
