Size: 4” This adorable Hummel is called ‘Surprise’. In the past, it has also been known as ‘The Duet’, ‘Hansel and Gretel’ and ‘What’s Up?’. This is an endearing rendition of Hansel and Gretel. The little boy has his arm around is little sister who carries a basket. Both children stare up with shocked looks on their round faces. This is a genuine M.I. Hummel, masterfully crafted by the W. Geobel Company. The design is based on the beloved artwork of the celebrated artist Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel.
The pattern number is 94/3/0. The Millennium Bee Mark on the bottom indicates that this piece was made sometime after 2000. It is 4" tall and 2.5” wide. This figurine is in great condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It bears the Goebel backstamp and the signature of Maria Innocentia Hummel.
