Description: With no frame of reference, it is very difficult to tell the size and scaling of this piece from the pictures. It is massive and extremely heavy; the lid alone weighs more than 10 pounds. Please be aware of this before bidding. Ideally it should go on a floor or over-sized mantel. Chinese Export Porcelain Floor "Ginger Jar" with 360-degree panoramic views of the Hongs / Foreign Factories at Canton, including French and U.S Flags / Factories. 23k gold highlights. Approximate dimensions: 26.5" tall x 16.5" wide.

This piece is part of our exclusive, museum-quality Historic Export Porcelain Collection and is entirely handmade, hand formed, hand painted, and hand fired in wood burning kilns by our master craftsmen in Hong Kong. In all, this pieces takes nearly one month to complete. Again, every part is made by hand and is hand painted, including all the diapering. This is not transferware, and this is not made from a mold.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I have several of these in stock so the piece the winning bidder will receive will be nearly identical in every way to the one in the picture. Again, because this is entirely handmade and hand painted, no two are ever exactly the same, nor should one want them to be; such is the nature of handwork.

So there is no confusion, this piece is new, it is not an antique. However, it was made using the same methods, materials, techniques, and traditions of its antique counterpart, and was made in the same location.
