Description: TAKE A MOMENT TO STAND BACK AND ABSORB THE BEAUTY OF THIS IMPRESSIVE CUCKOO CLOCK!!Please take a look at one of the most fabulous and biggest cuckoo clocks we have had the pleasure to offer for auction in some time!!This Gigantic cuckoo clock of 37 Inches tall is made of the finest birch wood and has the warm gorgeous patina of walnut.The moment you hear that distinctive call as the cuckoo pops out of the little door in the carved wood, you will be transported back to a time of great clock making out of the Black Forest.This huge Black Forest cuckoo clock that dates from the second quarter of the 20th C. (c. 1935) is one of the biggest cuckoo clock we have ever seen!This is a beautifully crafted clock, complete and in perfect working order. The clock has a 30 hours movement and is driving by two cast iron pinecones.The clockwork is signed on the back with: " REGULA-Made in Germany ".While the bird is Coo cooing every half and full hour , there is a chime on a old gong that sounds in the back ground.The clock is carved with two rifles, a rabbit with a pheasant, acorns with many leaves, a hunting horn,a hunting bag, and on the top a big deer head with glass eyes and antlers. As an expert in cuckoo clocks I can say the carvings at this clock are very unusual and much more detailed as other cuckoo clocks. We were lucky to acquire it from a high end private estate in the South of Germany near Munich!No matter where you hang this cuckoo clock everyone will be begging to know where you got such an outstanding clock and where they can get one like it! But believe me that will be difficult !!The dimensions are: Height: 37 Inches, Width: 21 Inches and Depth: 15,5 Inches.Because the clock is that big the shipping costs will be 180 US$.Regarding shipping we will pack the clock in a wooden box so you will receive it in perfect condition.
