HOWARD SERIES 7 HUNTING MODEL 17 JEWELS SALESMANS DISPLAY Circa: 1910. Howard produced this model for the gentleman who wanted to pay a little more for squality. Howard was always considered the Patek Phillipe of American production. This beautiful grade is displayed through glass in this salesmans display case. This case has hard rock beveled glass crystals on both sides for easy viewing of both the dial and movement. This movement is clean, running and still very accurate. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Single sunken white porcelain with bold Roman figures and marked: "Howard" in Gothic script. Hairlines exist from 9 to sub. seconds circle, which does not distract.
MOVEMENT: 16 size, hunting model, lever set, 3/4 plat nickel, all 14k rose gold screw down jewel settings, "ADJUSTED", "17 Jewels", #968,020. Truly excellent condition, very nice.
CASE: Snap back and bezel all nickel slaesmans sample display case. This case was used by the Howard Watch Co. salesman to present his movement models and dials without the need to snap, open and shut cases as he presents his stock to the jeweler. This case is truly a salesman's sample original because of the absense of a bow. for easy turning during presentation.
