Description:
This little baby doll is so cute and in very good condition - cloth body, composition head and movable arms and legs with no damage or flaws, open and close eyes with full eyelashes. This little doll belonged to the previous owner as a child and is E.I. Horsman's "Buttercup" Baby Doll. She is 16 1/2" and has her original clothes, little crochet booties show some damage and bonnet tie has been retied in one place, but overall in very good condition and cute as can be. "Buttercup" is fashioned after a character baby boy named Buttercup (for 20 years!) in a very popular comic strip from the Chicago Tribune in the early 1930's, Toots & Casper - "Buttercup" was given to the previous and original owner in 1935.
