Description: Huge Winged Griffin Inlaid Mahogany Four Door Bookcase in fine original finish and condition. The two center doors have an accentuated bowed glass with bottom panels of inlaid griffins with baskets of fruit, leaves and scrolls. Three dimensional columns flank the two side stiles and the top is fully inlaid all across with winged griffins in various scenes. Notice the unusual door combination, the two end doors open towards the center, and the two center doors open out. We attribute this magnificent bookcase to R. J. Horner, New York.
