Description: Set of 4 Hollywood Movie Star picture cards with Spencer Tracy, Charles Ruggles, and Pert Kelton(2). Actors were represented by: FOX FILM CORPORATION, RKO STUDIOS, and PARAMOUNT PICTURES. These collector cards were distibuted through department store scale weight vending machines; customers would pay the set price then stand on the scale and out would pop this Hollywood moviestar card with the patrons body weight. Cards are made by Peerless Weighting & Vending Machine Corporation of New York for the Montgomery Ward Department Stores, Patent number 1546553 which is the year 1925. 3 of the cards show ink stamped dates from 1935. One card is marked, Engrav-o-tints Portraits of Movie Stars.
