Description:

This great footed majolica bowl is part of the extensive Pond Lily series produced by the firm of J Holdcroft. The bowl or compote is molded from overlapping lily pads with two blossoms. The base is also overlapping leaves. Add this great piece to your collection.

MEASURES: 10-1/4 inch across top, 3-1/4 inch tall.

Good-Very Good condition. There is a very small chip and a tight hairline crack (both as shown in photo) and a very small manufacturer flaw where a small spot of glaze is missing. None of these really detract from the beauty of the piece.

Impressed J Holdcroft on bottom.

Made in England

Circa 1800s
