Description: Wonderful item for a Harmonica Player or Collector! This is an original HOHNER Harmonica store display box. The box measures 10 1/2" x 9 1/4", 6" h. It operates in an accordian fashion with latches on the front and back. Once opened, side braces act as support legs, exhibiting three trays for harmonicas with the orignal label on the underside of the top. The mahogany box is red stained with the top stenciled in gold, "M. HOHNER'S WORLD REKNOWN HARMONICAS Made in Germany" This is thought to be late 19th c. - c. 1900 and for the age, not only in good condition, but quite usable for the original purpose, display and storage of harmonicas.
