This incredible book contains photographs of each model of the Colt revolver and facsimiles of numerous contemporary and historical documents. The wealth of information contained within this book is staggering! Published by Bonanza Books 1940 First Edition. As if that wasn’t enough the book is in superb condition! It is bound in forest green buckram with gold gilt lettering on the spine and front cover along with a gold gilt revolver and blind stamped décor. As I mentioned the condition is fine – it appears to have never been read. It also has its original dust jacket, which is in a bright orange color. The spine of the dj is white which may have been intentional or perhaps sunned. I could go on and on about this book which is so profusely illustrated with nearly 500 photographs, drawings, patents, Colt letters, and other documents that it is hard not to!
