One of the many books from the Estate of Francis P. Fretwell that we will be selling. The library is the largest privately owned collection of dog books in the world. Mr. Fretwell was the owner of Monfret Kennels, which bred champion standard poodles. He was former president and governor of the Poodle Club of America, and the Italian Greyhound Club of America. He also served as a delegate to the American Kennel Club for decades. His wonderful collection of books has been carefully maintained. *** Hints on Dog Breaking. By William Floyd. Covers have light wear and light spotting. Mr. Fretwell's bp on front fixed endpaper. Lacking front free endpaper. Prior owner's name on title page. A few pages have creased, closed tears. Overall in Good condition.
